Marilyn Monroe - Death By Psychiatry?

On the CCHR website there is a section devoted to artists. As I am an artist this was struck home to me. Artists and succesful people are often found surrounded by "professionals" in the field of mental health.

I've heard many stories about what happened to Marilyn Monroe but this, from CCHR's website makes the most sense. Here is an excerpt:
"In 1960, Monroe saw psychiatrist Ralph Greenson, whose control over her was swift, severing all her close relationships. By 1962, she realized—too late—that she must "disconnect from Greenson." After spending six hours with him, she was found dead of a drug overdose. In the seven years prior to psychiatry’s influence, Monroe had made 23 movies. In the seven years of her psychiatric "care," she only made six films."
Check out the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights for more information on other famous artists whose lives have been destroyed by Psychiatry in the name of help.

Monroe's death has been surrounded with such mystery and this makes so much sense, especially realizing that her level of production decreased right after starting to see the psychiatrist. Instead of her quality of life improving it seems to have gotten worse.this seems to make more sense than anything else i have heard since her death.

Believe what you will, because Scientology tells you too, but there is clearly A LOT about her death you have not educated yourself on. There is no one thing that can be be blamed for her death. Obviously you aren't aware of the fact that the FBI had a file on Monroe, suspecting that she had Communist ties, not to mention her romantic involvement with both the Kennedy brothers. Bobby visited her on the day of her death, threatened her, screamed at her, and after hours of arguing with her left her home. She was dead less than twelve hours later. Try to think for yourselves people, READ, educate yourselves on different theories before you blindly believe in things just because one group tells you too.

Libraesque,
Thanks for your comment. I am familiar with this theory. Have you thought about the possibility of these two theories tying together - i.e. why do you think a psyche was "helping" her so intensely that last day?

YES, absolutely! I think the psychiatrist she was seeing at the time did not have her best interests at heart. I think his ego got in the way. She was seeing a massuese, who also became her confidant in those last years, Ralph Roberts, who helped her with her anxiety and her increasing sleeplessness, not only through massage, but also by telling her comforting stories about his hometown. He would lull her to sleep with these small town stories. Her psychiatrist told him to go back to New York. But I don't think anything in the world could have help M.M. She had her hands in too many pies, and she constantly had deceitful people tugging, clawing and ripping her to shreds. She was a vulnerable, sensitive woman, but I don't think there was anyone that could have really protected her, and I also don't think psychiatry was to blame. I think of it as an ingredient that led to her demise

I agree with you, libraesque, the psychiatrist definitely was part of what led to her demise. This type of leeching of artists and other celebrities as been going on since time immemorial.

This makes total sense to me! Marilyn Monroe was a productive member of society and a screen wonder! Just a tragedy.
